This assignment would have been easy for me had I not tried to be fancy with it. The podcast can be a video instruction as well for those just like me that started freaking out when they saw others just putting the audio version. I tried to do a podcast about making sugar cookies at first and with different takes and I was trying to use a movie editor in the IT building to revise it and even add captions, but the program wouldn't work with youtube and it made too big of a file (probably because it took two and a half hours to render). So I decided to go the more simple route and teach people how to streak and tip their hair at home in one take. I had my lovely fiancee help film both movies so he was pretty irritated by the time we were done. It took a long time for the movie to go up on youtube but it did eventually. I figure this could be used to teach stories or if you have a good visual and audio example of a classroom lesson you can record it at home and show your students. Another way to use podcasting is if you had something to share with all the class you could send an audio message to everyone to make it more personalized. I saw a lot of you using audacity and I thought I should give my own perspective on that program because I use that program for music recording. Unless you are using sound effects it is basically a push record and save type of program. Also for the type of podcast I was doing on youtube you can only post 1 gb and 10 minutes worth of material so if you have more than that you may have to modify or find another way to upload. So enjoy
